The new age of Enlightenment – The Battle of the Trees
“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” Daniel 12:4
Introduction
I have, for a long time, wondered why the Book of Revelation recorded that in the New Earth, there will be no darkness and no seas. It was only recently, while writing a soon-to-be-published book on creativity, that, out of the blue, a very comforting answer to the questions above came to me. And it made a lot of sense to me. And this is irrespective of whatever else they may mean to someone else.
As a thinker and a creative person, I mostly write or create from the place of what I see in my mind’s imagination and from what I hear within. To some people, there are other ways in which creativity comes to them, and all are beautiful.
To me, and this is captured across the Bible, darkness is not a negative energy. Darkness is just that which is hidden or kept in mystery until the light of knowledge opens it up for all to see. Also, the sea or water represents the primordial water out of which all created things came.
In other words, see water as creativity and see light as knowledge. Therefore, that there will be no night or sea in the New Earth, means there will be no more creativity and the seeking of knowledge from darkness. All that can be created within the span of the age has been created, and all that can be known within that span has also been known. So, there won’t be a need for night (knowledge that is hidden) and sea (the womb of creativity), for all that can be known has been known, and all that can be created has been created.
But before this age that I speak of comes, there is also the age that we are in right now, which scriptures refer to as the age where knowledge shall increase and humanity will be running to and fro, seeking knowledge.
Where we are right now
We live in a world of opposites and parallels. A world controlled by intelligence and knowledge. An opposing world of good and evil, light and darkness, love and hate, fear and bravery, poor and rich, knowledge and ignorance, war and peace, positive and negative, you name it. It’s quite amusing to see how these opposites work in a yin-yang pattern and cannot really be divorced from themselves. For some reason, life balances itself out even with these opposites and parallels.
Another amusing thing about this reality of opposites and parallels is that he who understands how both sides work and how they create some kind of balance is regarded truly as wise. Pay attention to this thought.
But the thing is, all of the opposites and parallels that we find in our world and which technically rule this world stem from one tree or system of knowledge – the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. This knowledge system has been from the very beginning, since the first man and woman who were created in the image of God activated it by eating the fruit of that tree. And we all know what the fruit of that tree created – death. And then you have the Tree of Life, which is basically the tree of the knowledge of God, whose fruit is eternal Life.
So basically, when you have the system of knowledge emanating from the tree of death, you also must have the system of knowledge emanating from the tree of life. One brings death through corruption, just as we have seen from the fall, while the other brings life if its reality is embraced. Many know and embrace the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but not many know or embrace the tree of the knowledge of God.
However, both trees were created to lead man, whom God intentionally made to serve a divine purpose, through the fall and death, so that God’s eternal power of resurrection can be revealed through man, unto the knowledge of God through divine storytelling. A story that includes making sure Eve ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, gave her husband, who also ate, and both of them became conscious of sin and their need for God, unto the redemption of their souls. But what happened in the garden was not a fall unto death, like an end, but the beginning of the story of how God can bring life out of death, righteousness out of unrighteousness. And this was the original plan by God, eve before anything was made.
In other words, both the tree of life and the tree of death were intended to set mankind on the path of enlightenment through the death of their dusty nature. Therefore, there is neither evil nor good, just what is true.
But why am I drawing this parallel? It’s because we are in a time when these two knowledge systems will find their full expression on the earth. Men will walk to and fro doing what the system of death requires of them to do, but without God, and knowledge will increase greatly, and death will be the massive fruit of this Godless knowledge. Also, the knowledge of God shall cover the earth as water covers the sea, and righteousness will prevail to the intent that a new earth of God will emerge. For as the earth we have now was formed from the primordial waters of the beginning, so shall the new earth that is coming be formed from the water of the knowledge of God. And that water is what Jesus alluded to when He said, “out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water”. Meaning that the creation of the new earth that is coming is technically in the hands of the sons of God and not really in the hands of God, as it were. (Please allow the Spirit to explain this to you.) For if creation is waiting for the liberty of the sons of God in order for it to be set free from futility, and not God as it were, then imagine what the sons of God can turn creation into if they truly come into the liberty of the Spirit.
My experiences
In 2023, I had two experiences that were both technically the same. I had gone to bed quite late because I was busy with a book I was designing for a client, so at around 2 a.m. or so, the word “Enlightenment” woke me up. I heard it in my ears like someone bent over and spoke into them. I got up very draggy, went to the bathroom, and then to the sitting room to at least try to keep fresh the word I had heard. I tried to pray, but was too sleepy to keep myself awake. So, I went back inside and slept. At about six in the morning, the same voice woke me up. And this time it says “14th September, the beginning of the age of enlightenment”.
The word was so direct and clear that I knew something was going on. I got up and went for my morning walk while meditating on what I had heard. While I was seated on a rock in the open Savannah in my neighborhood, I took some time to pray about what I was told.
Interestingly, a few days later, after the experiences, I realized that the 14th of September of 2023 was the eve of the Jewish Rosh Hashanah, which started from sundown on the 15th and ended on sundown of the 17th. It precedes Yom Kippur, which is the Jewish New Year. Rosh Hashanah is referred to as the birthday of the universe, the day God created Adam and Eve, and it’s celebrated as the head of the Jewish year. I found all of that very interesting.
But what does it all mean?
Enlightenment must mean various things to various people, so I will not necessarily give a definition of what I think it means, but I will share what I believe is the direction the Word is moving our lives in.
For me, enlightenment simply means we have come to the age of the peak of knowledge for our particular dispensation. Knowledge is light, and enlightenment is the entering into the dimension of knowledge where all that has been hidden in the darkness of mystery is now made manifest and open for those it is meant for, by light.
To give a better perspective, let me double back to the history of the last age of enlightenment that happened in Europe. Mind you, I am using the European Age of Enlightenment just as a reference for what I want to explain and not for an example of what this Age of Enlightenment that I was told of will look like.
The Age of Enlightenment, also known as the Age of Reason, was an intellectual and philosophical movement that occurred in Europe, especially Western Europe, in the 17th and 18th centuries. It was characterized by a range of ideas centered on the value of human happiness, the pursuit of knowledge obtained by means of reason and the evidence of the senses, and ideals such as natural law, liberty, progress, toleration, fraternity, constitutional government, and separation of church and state. Historians place the Enlightenment in Europe, with a strong emphasis on France, between the Glorious Revolution in 1688 and the French Revolution of 1789. It represented a phase in the intellectual history of Europe and also programs of reform, inspired by a belief in the possibility of a better world. The Enlightenment was characterized by the rise of new sciences, faith in reason, and expanding trade. (Source: Wikipedia.)
So basically, and from the summary of the Age of Enlightenment above, we can technically say, the last age of enlightenment was when the ability for men to live their lives outside of the will and the Spirit of God came into full manifestation on the earth. It was when men decided that the “ruling church” and its laws were corrupt, against the human ability to reason for themselves. It came with reforms that tried to create a world with new ideologies of wealth, freedom, progress, etc. But we have seen what the last age of enlightenment has done to our world, even though I am not a fan of the so-called “ruling church”. It has given birth to what the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil gives birth to, that is, death and corruption. One of its lastborn is the gay agenda, which, by the way, is one of the major last straws that will break the proverbial camel’s back of this world system. The other being the merging of man and machine, which scientists are calling “Singularity”.
But the increase of knowledge in our world won’t just be about man discovering more knowledge trees, but also about alien beings, from other realms and dimensions, also bringing knowledge into our world. Also, the to and fro movement won’t just be about mankind moving within the planet Earth alone, but also about being able to move from one realm to another using technology. Which is why the billionaire club members don’t mind destroying our earth with their insatiable quest for the resources in it. They bank on going to live on Mars. Now, the world must move to the next level of knowledge, which intentionally is the days of the coming of spirit beings in our world, the rise of fallen angels, artificial intelligence, singularity, the internet of things, and you name it. It’s not a coincidence but a carefully crafted plan of the Almighty. And this also must be paralleled by the age of the knowledge of God, which gives life. This is the reason why God is sending His watchers into the earth with the sword and book of judgment and cleansing to remove the things that must be removed and also prepare those who must carry the reality of the tree of life, the reality of the river of life, and the reality of the book of life, in their lives.
Angels and the living bodies of saints and spirit beings will walk on earth like you and me in these present physical bodies. For the culmination of knowledge and light is for both heaven and earth to merge as one. Without a distance and without a veil.
But the enlightenment that has been announced for the sons of God comes with a cost, just like the enlightenment of the world must come with a cost. For the sons of God, they must walk away from every dependency on the wisdom of this world and embrace the system of the tree of life. But how? Through the renewal of the mind.
When a man’s mind has been renewed by the word and Spirit of God, he becomes a direct recipient of the mind of God. It’s like joining the mailing list of the Divine. Nothing pouring out from the mind of God that such a person will miss, well, at least what is meant for him or her. What they get may come in different levels of revelation and at different times, but they will never lack the knowledge of the will of God. For it is written that when a man’s mind is renewed, they know the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.
But this is the reality of the Age of Enlightenment. The two trees of the garden, which are both systems of knowledge, will manifest their fruits massively in this time. In fact, it will be a battle of the trees or knowledge systems. In some instances, it will manifest as the battles of religions, the battle for national territories, the battle for dominion of various systems, and many others. The fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil will lead to death, for that’s all it can create, even though that death has a purpose in God, but the fruit from the tree of life, which is the tree of the knowledge of God, will definitely bring forth life unto eternity. For it is the life of God contained in a system of knowing God. To know God and the Christ He sent is eternal life.
And what that means is that whichever of the three trees one eats from in this age, will determine what they will produce on the earth and will determine their eternity.
And I do not speak of the knowledge of God as the knowledge of the Bible, even though it’s part of it, but I speak of the knowledge of God as what it is; knowing God and the Christ that He sent. For when the Tree of Life or the system of knowing God was “planted” or instituted in the garden in the beginning, the word of God was not a Bible or book, but a Person. He is the one to be known, for he is the true Word of God, and everything in the Bible points to him.
Meaning that, the new age of enlightenment that we have come into is about the revelation of the Son of God, who is the embodiment of the tree of life, which in turn is the knowledge of God. For He Himself said, no one has seen the Father except Him who was from before time. And technically, it is also about the revelation of the sons of God who are the brothers of Christ.
What must we do?
The answer to this question will only be valid if each one goes to God and inquires. Our instructions on what to do might be different, but the outcome will be the same. So I won’t attempt to answer the question, so I do not create a principle or a doctrine.
So take it to the Lord in prayer, prepare your heart to agree with His heart and what He will tell you to do, even if they sound “stupid”.
