Boredom-the power to disengage from The Matrix

If you are truthful to yourself, like everyone of us should, you will realize that most of the things you are thinking about today, or worry about, are the very same things you thought and worried about yesterday, except your mind has been trained to do otherwise. In fact, I read somewhere that it’s scientifically proven that 95% of what we think today was the same as what we thought yesterday. Talk about living in a loop – The Matrix.

The reason why there is so much distraction from meaningful things and attractions to mundane things of the world is so that you don’t ever know or engage the power of boredom. The system does not want you to be bored, so it constantly puts things in your face to keep you in the loop. To keep you busy. Bored minds create new pathways for new things. Boredom is the pathway to solitude, and it’s in solitude that life and creativity come to play and new things are birthed.

We are programmed daily to hate boredom, but boredom is not a bad thing. Boredom is proof that you are revolting against the loop in your mind.  It means you have come to a place of decision and the junction of a new side of your life, and you are no longer afraid to do nothing, be nothing, say nothing, or be called idle. Boredom is just your mind fussing over its loss of the loop. The mind enjoys playing with the loop because that’s how it exerts its rights and power over you. But the mind was never meant to be the boss of your life, but a servant to help you engage the universal frequencies all around you, which, in turn, helps you change your life. For as a man thinks, so is he, and as he is not thinking, so he will not.

And if the last statement above is true, which I know it is, and if it’s also true that 95% of the things we think or worry about today are the same things we thought and worried about yesterday, why then are we surprised that we are constantly recreating the very things we wish to be free from? This realization is what the Matrix was created to distract you from, and you have been distracted for a long time, and you need to break free.

In fact, boredom is a call to make a decision. Its a call to go inside .

There are two sides of our existence: that which is outside and that which is inside. If that which is outside is born to you, just maybe that which is inside is calling out for your attention. Which is mostly what the case is. Therefore, do not ignore that call or bury it under more “bysiness” or meaningless distractions. Every new thing begins from the inside.

Meaning that if your life is in a loop based on archived history, memory, and events in your past, then what you are thinking today is not really new, but the old stuff that the mind doesn’t want to let go. And it also means you have been ignoring the call to look inside. Looking inside is one way to break free from the loop.

So, how do you stop the loop from taking over your daily life? It’s called meditation.

Meditation can be defined as intentional thinking. To meditate is to think over, reflect, consider, and engage in deep contemplation. It is to love and engage the soul’s silence.

Therefore, to break free from the daily loop of the mind, intentionally keep at the forefront of your mind new things that are coming to you – new ideas, the revelations you have been shown, night dreams, words that came to you from out of the blue, etc. Intentionally engage these things. And because your mind cannot think two things at once, you will force it to engage the new rather than the loop it enjoys doing. Your mind may revolt by trying to make you feel bored, but that’s a good thing. The state of boredom is like you’re standing by the gate of the next big thing that is about to happen for you. Boredom is what must happen to you before you step into the enduring bliss that solitude brings. Boredom means you are pushing through the mind’s loop, and your mind, having lost grip on the loop, is just fussing. It wants you to go back to play with the loop. That’s all it knows. It enjoys doing that. And wants to do it with you.

But this is where you let the mind know that, even though you two are friends, you’re also the boss and that you have the power to take back your life from the loop.

This is also how you disengage from the loop of the systemic rat race of the world called The Matrix. This is how you break away from the matrix? No one has ever broken free from the matrix or the loop of the mind who has not engaged the power of boredom. This is freedom. And it always begins with the realization that there is something more to life than just running around trying to fill your quota of nothingness and vanity.

Boredom brings you to this realization. Use it.
